Recently, Sun Dolphin Surfboards was featured on the official Instagram of US Blanks, one of the most trusted and respected surfboard blank companies in the world.

It was an unexpected honor and a moment that truly means a lot to me.

I’ve been shaping surfboards for about 15 years now, and throughout my journey, US Blanks has been there from the beginning. Almost every board I’ve made has started from one of their blanks. Their consistent quality, reliability, and feel under the planer have played a huge role in helping me grow as a shaper.

To have my Hot Curl model highlighted by a company I’ve admired for so long is something I’m genuinely grateful for.

Moments like this remind me why I started shaping in the first place — the joy of creating something with your hands, and the connection it builds within the surf community.

Thank you, US Blanks, for the feature and for always providing such high–quality materials.

このたび、世界でもっとも信頼されているサーフボードブランクスメーカーのひとつである US Blanks の公式Instagramに、Sun Dolphin Surfboards が紹介されました。

とても大きな出来事であり、本当に嬉しく、心から感謝しています。

僕がサーフボードをシェイプし始めて約15年になりますが、そのほとんどのボードはUS Blanksのフォームから始まりました。

いつも変わらない品質と信頼性があり、僕のシェイパーとしての成長にとって欠かせない存在でした。

そんな長い間尊敬してきた会社に、自分のホットカールモデルを取り上げてもらえたことは、とても光栄なことです。

改めて「なぜシェイプを始めたのか」という原点を思い出させてくれる出来事でした。

手で何かをつくる喜び、そしてサーフコミュニティとのつながり。

そのすべてを改めて感じるきっかけになりました。
