Returns & Refunds
At Sun Dolphin Surfboards, every board is shaped and finished by hand with care. Because of the custom and handmade nature of what we do, we do our best to be clear and fair with our return and refund policy.
Custom Surfboards
Most of our boards are custom-made. Once shaping has begun, custom orders are non-refundable and cannot be canceled. We take great care throughout the process and will stay in touch with you to make sure everything is going as expected.
In-Stock Surfboards
If you’ve purchased a board that was in stock (not made to order), we may accept a return under special circumstances. The board must be unused, in original condition, and returned within 7 days of delivery. Shipping fees and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact us before sending anything back.
Damaged Shipments
If your board arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Be sure to send photos of the box and the board, along with a description of the damage. We’ll do our best to make things right—whether that means filing a claim with the shipping company or finding another solution that works for you.
International Orders
We ship worldwide, including to Japan. For international orders, we’ll communicate clearly about timelines, costs, and carriers. Please note that customs fees, duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
